Support & Share Night Program

Join us an evening of grief education and bereavement support at our upcoming Support and Share Night on Tues, Oct 2, 2018.

Our Oct 2, 2018 speaker is Tressa Haney.  She tells her story of Growing Up In A Grief Stricken Home.

Her family was forever changed the day her sibling unexpectedly died. She developed her own set of coping skills in childhood, which did not serve her well in adulthood. Her unresolved grief lingered for 25 years and prevented her from living the life she wanted.

Everyone, regardless of their loss, will see a bit of themselves in Tressa’s story of family grief.

Tressa is an army wife and mom of 3. Her past experience has shaped who she is today. She has worked through her grief and is now a life coach. Her mission is helping people whose life was impacted by a sibling loss in childhood.

For 40 years, this monthly program has been supporting individuals and families on their journey of grief.  The night begins with an educational talk, followed by an opportunity to connect with others who are grieving a similar loss to yours in one of our 7 support groups.  Groups are led by trained facilitators who have grieved and experienced a loss similar to yours.  You are not alone.  You can see our past speakers and their topics here.

The 7 bereavement groups are:
Loss of Spouse
Loss of Child
Loss of Perinatal (miscarriage, still birth, infant under 1 year)
