Support & Share Night Program

Our June 5th speaker is Catherine Paris.  She will be speaking about putting   One Foot in Front of the Other

Catherine is a retired teacher, a Bereaved Families Facilitator, and the founder of our weekly support and share walks.   She is speaking about the healing power of walking in grief, and shares her experiences through the multiple losses in her life, including the loss of her brother through MAID (Medical Assistance in Dying).

For over 35 years, this monthly program has been supporting individuals and families on their journey of grief.  It provides an educational component and a peer support group component. Each month we provide an opportunity for you to connect with others in one of the 6 peer support groups that are led by our understanding and compassionate volunteers.  The night begins with an educational talk, followed by an opportunity to connect with others who are grieving a similar loss to yours in a supportive group environment.  Groups are facilitated by trained, understanding volunteers who have grieved and experienced a loss similar to yours.  You are not alone.  You can see our past speakers and their topics here.

Join us for a story of loss and healing at our upcoming Support and Share Night on Tues, June 5th.

The 6 peer groups provided each month include:
Loss of Spouse
Loss of Child
