Support And Share NIGHT

You are invited to a support and share night, facilitated by trained BFO volunteers, who have also experienced the death of a loved one. After a short film or guest speaker, the facilitators help to structure the discussion, share their experiences, as well as answer any questions you may have. You are welcome to share as you are able, or simply be present with other bereaved people who are learning to live with their grief.

Educational Component:

Peer Support Groups include:

• Loss of Spouse
• Loss of Parent/Sibling/Friend
• Loss of Child
• Loss by Miscarriage/Baby Born Still/Infant Under 1 yr
• Loss by Suicide

Where:

Lower Hall of St Timothy's Presbyterian church, 2400 Alta Vista Dr. Ottawa

There is a big parking lot in which you can park your car. Look for the sign on the side door of the hall of the church. Once inside, take 10 steps and you will see either stairs or an elevator to take to the lower level.

When:

The first Tuesday of every month, 7-9pm. No Registration. No Fees. Donations gratefully accepted.

How:

OC Transpo Bus #8 stops in front of the church.
