We are looking for volunteers

If you have an interest in offering support to the bereaved in our community, then you might be the person we are looking for.

If you have suffered a loss yourself, perhaps you would like to train as a facilitator to help others. Or, understanding the good that we offer within our community, perhaps you would care to volunteer in other ways? We are always looking for volunteers to help out in the BFO office.

BFO is also looking for individuals willing to volunteer for our Board of Directors. Currently, we are seeking individuals with an accounting and /or fundraising / events-planning background. The fundraiser is responsible for proposal development and / or organizing fundraising events, such us our Annual Golf Tournament, Walk to Remember, and Remembrance Tree. The Board meets the third Tuesday of each month at the Bronson Centre, located at 211 Bronson Avenue, Suite 308, Ottawa, Ontario, K1R 6H5, at 6:30 pm.
