Come out for fresh air, exercise and companionship
This is an opportunity to connect with others who are bereaved, in an informal setting. The walk is led by trained facilitators who have grieved and experienced the death of someone special. No pre-registration is required…just show up.
Date & Time: Wednesdays, noon – 1:15
Location: The Bronson Centre, 211 Bronson Avenue. Meet in the main foyer. Arrive at 11:50. The group leaves at 12:00 sharp.
Cost: Free (although donations are welcome)
Where: A scenic walk through city streets, along the Ottawa River and behind the Parliament buildings. We finish back at The Bronson Centre.
(NOTE: Join the group at the National Archives Statue in front of the building at 12:15.. Return to National Archives.)
Transportation: 2 hour free street parking near The Bronson Centre OR park in our parking lot at the back of the building (accessed from Nepean Str.) for $6.50/day. There is an OC Transpo bus stop at the front of the building.
